industralisation & optimisation in photovoltaic power plants

Process Process Process Process Process

Some advantages of a two phases workflow for industrialising and optimising processes in Photovoltaic power plants

Back home

  1. The main objective is to minimise delays in the planning of the installation of photovoltaic plants.
  2. We use problem solving analysis to anticipate potential errors during assembly process.
  3. Provide an «assembly manual» to our customers to tackle multiple projects with the same standard of work. In short, all the Photovoltaic plants will be assembled using the same methodology.
  4. Transfer of knowledge to the client's internal project team so that they are able to maintain, replicate and improve the defined work standard.

Phase 1:
Analysis & Diagnosis

  1. Technical

    • Analysing the entire assembly process
    • From the beginning (design) to the end of the work
    • Technical analysis & lean methodology
    • Field measurements
    • Propose and implement improvement actions
    • Preparation of standard and industrialisation documents
  2. Organisational

    • Determine process control KPIs
    • Define the pyramid of daily/weekly/monthly management meetings
    • Determine Go/no Go and key control points
  3. Human Resources

    • Training corporate experts
    • Knowledge transfer and mentoring

Phase 2:
Implementation

  1. Technical

    • Implementation of the practices defined in the industrialisation of the process
    • Validation of improvements
  2. Organisational

    • Auditing the correct implementation of actions
    • Accompanying in the daily/weekly/monthly
    • Management meetings
  3. Human resources

    • Staff training
    • Knowledge transfer and accompaniment

Results

The results of the projects carried out by Optimus Crane generate a series of economic savings in two ways:

  1. Reduction of the assembly time of the photovoltaic plants based on the minimisation/elimination of planning delays.
  2. Reduction of operating costs by having an optimised standard of resources and time allocated to the different tasks.
